Stay off roads for one more day, police ask drivers

 Sunshine is starting to melt some of the snow today, but primary and secondary roads are still snow covered, according to Sandy Myers, a spokesperson for the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Interstates 81 and 66 have been cleared. On Saturday, some exit off ramps had to be closed when truck stops filled up.  Off ramps at exits 195, 205 and 213 have been reopened.  Still closed are northbound and southbound off ramps at exit 323 in Frederick County and exit 291 Toms Brook.

Corinne Geller, a spokesperson for the Virginia State Police, asks area residents to stay off the roads for one more day.
