The Northern Virginia Emergency Response System (NVERS) supports regional collaboration and capacity building in all facets of emergency preparedness within Northern Virginia.

An emergency preparedness coalition

Set strategic goals that support a collaborative approach to emergency preparedness, operational coordination, and recovery.

Standardize processes, plans, and technology used during emergencies across the region.

Prepare responders and healthcare workers for critical incidents through training, exercises, and resource acquisition.

Provide a regional forum to solve common preparedness challenges together.

Exercise participants engaged in discussion during the 2024 HID TTX.

On June 12 and June 14, 2024 NVERS facilitated the delivery of two (2) Virginia Department of Health (VDH) Highly Infectious Disease Tabletop Exercises (TTXs).
