The National Capital Region Water and Wastewater Agency Response Network (NCRWARN) and regional partners are hosting a free, hybrid, EPA-sponsored exercise event. The event will include informative presentations, as well as a tabletop exercise (TTX) and functional exercise (FE) designed to provide an opportunity to practice coordination, communication, and decision-making in response to a hypothetical scenario affecting water and wastewater utilities in the National Capital Region.
This event is open to representatives from all National Capital Region water and wastewater systems, as well as their local, regional, state, District, and federal response partners, to discuss and practice communication and coordination during an incident and to learn more about water sector mutual aid options. In-person attendance is limited to 50 participants.
