Captain Creston Ludlow
Phoenix Fire Department – Arizona
Captain/Paramedic Creston Ludlow has served with the Phoenix Fire Department since 2005, working in front-line operations and special
operations, including Technical Rescue, Hazardous Materials, and Peer Support.
He also serves as a Rescue and Logistics Specialist with Arizona Task Force 1.
Creston is a Technical Panel Member with the UL Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI), contributing to national research on advancing fire dynamics and modern firefighting tactics in multi-story residential structures. A nationally recognized instructor, he has delivered Hands-On Training and lectures at FDIC, Firehouse Expo, MAFFC, and F.I.E.R.O.
Since 2015, he has been a driving force in firefighter cancer prevention and exposure reduction, helping to translate complex research into simple, actionable practices that are changing behavior on the fireground.
