PART ONE: CURRICULUM (Thursday, April 16)
The training will be held in two parts. The first part will teach participants the Until Help Arrives training including introduction, respond, rescue, report, and survey sections. The bulk of the training is on the rescue portion. The entire training will last 8 hours.
Attendees must attend a regular UHA class prior to taking the trainer one. A class is being held on Friday, March 27 (8-12pm). Register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/until-help-arrives-training-march-2020-tickets-91816635027
PART TWO: TEACH BACK (Monday, April 27)
The second part will require students to teach the Until Help Arrives training back to the trainers to ensure they understood key concepts and can communicate those concepts to non-public safety personnel. This session will last 4 hours.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Daneen Matheson at email@example.com to register. Only individuals who have attended a regular UHA class will be approved. The class is capped at 50 students and spots are offered on a first come, first served basis. Additional information will be distributed as the training nears.
