This course examines and addresses the unique and challenging requirements of administering point of wounding medical care by Fire/Rescue/EMS personnel to patients during a high-threat incident. Fire/Rescue/EMS providers will learn to distinguish between life-saving and secondary interventions, and when they should be applied based on the prevailing threat to responders and patients based on current TECC guidelines.
Target Audience: BLS & ALS Providers identified by their agencies.
Important Registration Information:
This course serves as Part 1 of a 2-part prerequisite training pathway for the NVERS TECC Train-the-Trainer (TtT) Program. This offering is not intended as a general-interest TECC provider course for open enrollment or individual professional development outside of an agency-sponsored instructor development process.
