The presentation will describe key lessons learned from the event and will highlight important points from theJoint Action Guide for Acts of Violencethat helped frame the multi-agency response.7005 Woodscape DriveCaptain Joshua Burchick (Howard County [MD] Department of Fire &amp;amp; Rescue)will provide an overview of the incident leading up to the 2018 LODD of Lt. Nathan Flynn, the events surrounding the mayday, the RIT operation, and the several challenges facedduringthe incident.In-Extremis ReadinessCaptain Joshua Burchick (Howard County [MD] Department of Fire &amp;amp; Rescue)will present on the research, theory, and application for mayday events.
